Mr. Wayne Griffin, 75, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 21, 2021.  He was born on April 17, 1945, in Sparks and his parents were Wilburn Troy "W.T." "Mann" Griffin and Nell Storey Griffin.  Mr. Griffin lived in Cook County all of his life where he was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Nashville Church of Christ in Nashville, Georgia.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Peggy Ward Griffin of Sparks; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Dennis and Sandra Griffin of Sparks, Joey Griffin of Sparks, and Mark and Jill Broyles of Roswell, Georgia; eight grandchildren: Caleb Griffin of Sparks, Zachary Griffin of Sparks, Cody Griffin of Sparks, Todd Parramore of Adel, Georgia, Austin Griffin of Cecil, Georgia, Dillon Broyles of Roswell, Travis Broyles of Los Angeles California, and Bridgett Broyles of Roswell; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Margie and Jake McMillan of Sparks, and Janice and David Stern of Hartwell, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by a son, David Broyles, and a daughter, Rexanna Parramore.

A memorial service for Mr. Griffin was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Evangelist Richard Dale officiating.  Bill Shaw led the congregation in the singing of "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden."  In accordance with Mr. Griffin's wishes, he was cremated.  Condolences may be expressed to the Griffin Family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  --Boone Funeral Home has been entrusted with all service arrangements.
