Ms. Willa Dean Kiser, 89, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away October 11, 2016 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Georgia. She was born on August 21, 1927 in Nevils, Georgia, to her late parents, William Arnie Lanier and Birdie Proctor Lanier. She lived in Lowndes County for most of her life where she was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Ms. Kiser served her family as a homemaker and also previously worked in the auto parts manufacturing industry as an operator for Metal Products in Madison, Florida.
Ms. Kiser is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Kathy Kiser of Live Oak, Florida, and Ken and Cheryl Kiser of Hahira; a daughter, Brenda Marshall of Hahira; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one more on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Kiser, and several brothers and sisters.
The family of Ms. Kiser will have a private family visitation. A graveside funeral service is scheduled to be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, Georgia.
