Mr. William M. "Billy" Patten, 78, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away on December 11, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Patten was born on December 19, 1945 to the late Fred Baker Patten and the late Betty Avera Patten.  He lived in the Atlanta area most of his life and was a retired machinist.

Mr. Patten is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Fredda and Harold Spurling of Lenox, Georgia; two nieces: Michelle Sedam of Lenox and Valerie Witcher of Butte, Montana; one nephew, Todd Phillips of Palatka, Florida; and several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, June Lott Patten.

In keeping with Mr. Patten's wishes he was cremated. No formal services will be held.

Memorial Park Funeral Home in Flowery Branch, Georgia was in charge of the arrangements.  Boone Funeral Home, Inc. assisted the family locally.
