Mr. William "Buddy" Jones, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away on August 10, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.  He was born in Brunswick, Georgia on June 14, 1945.  His parents were James Edgar Jones and Annie Rachel Lipsey Jones.  Mr. Jones lived in many places during his life including the State of New York and Adel, Georgia before finally residing in Nashville.  He was the retired owner and operator of B.J.'s Auto Detailing and he also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Jones is survived by two sons: Matthew Jones and his wife, Sherley, of Coconut Creek, Florida, and Jeremy Jones and his significant other, Brandi Hyatt, of Boca Raton, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and David Carr of Victor, New York, and Becky and Dan Ferrel of Woodbridge, Virginia; and seven grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Scott Jones.

A Celebration of Life service was held for Mr. Jones at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home (South) located at 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, Georgia.  A private interment took place at Campground Church Cemetery in Brooks County following the service.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  Boone Funeral Home is serving the Jones family.
