Mrs. Yorkie Caldwell Martin, 67, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at her home on October 19, 2016. She was born on April 25, 1949 in Hart's Creek, West Virginia to Ivan H. Caldwell and the late Siddy Luisa Vance Caldwell. Mrs. Martin served her family as a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Ronald and Harmony Martin of Greensboro, North Carolina and Michael Martin of Adel; two daughters and a son-in-law: Lori and Jack Woods and Vicki Miley, all of Adel; her father, Ivan H. Caldwell of West Virginia; a brother, David Caldwell of Wayne, West Virginia; three sisters: Diane Tomblin of Adel, Victoria Johnson of North Carolina, and Angela Caldwell of Lavalette, West Virginia; and seven grandchildren: Bryan Martin, Courtney McFarland, Delainia Miley, Taylor Woods, Savannah Woods; Bethanne Martin and Layla Marie Martin.

A funeral service for Mrs. Martin will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Pastor Cason officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Her body will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Community Memorial Gardens in Wayne, West Virginia.
