Mr. Douglas "Doug" L. Henthorn, 55 of Sparks, Georgia passed away October 23, 2014 at the South Georgia Medical Center.  He was born March 17, 1959 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Forrest Earl Henthorn and Marjorie Pence Henthorn Folsom.  Mr. Henthorn lived most of his life in Colquitt and Cook Counties.  He was a member of the Alapaha Baptist Church and a retired Agent with Liberty National Life Insurance Company.

He is survived by his wife, Connie D. Henthorn of Sparks; his son, Lee Henthorn II of Albany, Georgia; Special cousin, Janet L. Haines of Ashland, Ohio; his Special "Pop" and "Mom",  Horace and Sandra Baldree of Tifton, Georgia; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lucille and Donald Exum of Nashville, Georgia.

Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Georgia.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Alapaha Baptist Church with Rev.
